This little one thought her POTTERYBARN chair was the perfect place to have her photo taken. She was all smiles.

Our family photo attempt. We were using a self timer and my Hannah launched to see the photo on the camera right before the timer was up. I love how it shows my daughters excitement! It really captures her personality. I will have to try again, if I want the"perfect" family photo... However, I think this one is perfect!

MOTHER'S QUOTE...

"Here is my worst attempt at a holiday photo...

I thought it would be cute (funny) to dress up DELIA as a reindeer on her first Christmas and get a good photo to send out.

My Grandmother (Delia's Great-Grandmother) is holding her and I was going to crop her out of it and just have Delia...that is if I could get the shot. As you can see- it did not go well and the crying just got worse and I was never able to get the image.

(as usual, I waited until the last minute- Christmas eve- to do this and was going to send out cards as post Christmas- Happy New Year...never happened!!)
Love the series...

Susan Shepard's Share -

I think the first photo is the worst but they all go together so nicely as a series of attempts one dreary December afternoon back in 2004. My youngest was not at all interested in having his picture taken as you can see! I somehow got smiles out of all three for the last picture and ended up using it in black and white.

The Giandrea Family .... and that is Joseph :)

worst photos contest is off to a start with... yin and yang...
